About Unplugged on The Front Porch
The mission statement for Unplugged on the Front Porch, a quarterly nonprofit music series in downtown Austin, is two-fold. On one hand, we want to offer an intimate listening room for Austin’s music appreciators to meet and engage with our city’s troubadours and virtuosos. On the other, we insist on providing the artists who perform with a living wage in the spirit of patronism. Our desire here is that everybody wins. Past artists for Unplugged include Israel Nash, Mother Falcon, Ray Benson, Slaid Cleaves, Sam Baker, Erin Ivey, Matt the Electrician, Danny Schmidt, Carrie Elkin, and many more.
Free parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis in the parking lot directly adjacent to All Saints' Episcopal Church
. Once the church lot fills up, overflow parking will be available in the parking garage across the street, directly East of the church campus. If you must park in the garage, bring in your ticket! We will validate it for a discounted rate of only $2.
The suggested donation for this event is $20 per person. Kids 15 and under are admitted for free, and nobody is turned away for not being able to pay.
